THE limestone fireplace with trumeau from Provence !

What's more enjoyable than spending a beautiful winter evening by the fire, watching the flames crackling ?

This typical Provencal fireplace is hand-crafted by our experienced stonemasons in our atelier located near Avignon, in Provence. This is the reissue of a traditional Provencal fireplace in stone installed in a regional farmhouse.

Carved in a natural limestone extracted from our quarries in Provence, the stone of Estaillades, it is presented here with a beautiful aged patina to give it an authentic and ancient look.

The jambs are in console. The monolithic lintel is simple and sober. Its wide shelf shows an opulent molding. The hood, ended by a simple overhanging cornice, is composed of a beautiful apparatus of stones.

→ This fireplace can be sold without its trumeau and/or with or without a surrounding stone base.
The patina can be adapted to fit in your interior decor, and the dimensions can be re-worked to suit perfectly your criteria (like to accommodate an insert).
