Fireplace with trumeau in French limestone - Louis XIV style

Superb finely carved & sculpted fireplace ! This French artisanal creation is hand-crafted in our Ateliers located near Avignon, and carved from the Estaillades stone, extracted from our quarries of Provence.

It is inspired by the Louis 14th style fireplaces : a finely decorated trumeau with moulded frames and a beautiful sculpture of floral motifs. It also has a lovely arched lintel with, in its center, a floral frieze carved in relief by hand (specific style of Louis XIV) and 2 engravings on the sides. The focal line is harmonious and highlighted by a beautiful moulding. The jambs are decorated with carved frames. The rounded cornice is also moulded.
