The sundial is an instrument meant to measure time but it is also a decorative object !
Silent and still, it tells the time by the sun, and it does it all year-round. The sundial is considered as one of the first objects used by man to measure the passage of time. The oldest dates back to the Egyptians !
Different models available. They are carved in the stone of Estaillades, a natural limestone extracted from a Provence quarry.
All our sundials are sold with the gnomon (the vertical rod casting the shadow of the sun).
