Large fireplace in natural limestone inspired by the Louis XV style

This stone fireplace, an original creation by Alain Bidal, is inspired by the classic French Louis XV mantelpieces.

It features a pair of slightly curved jambs finely carved with vertical grooves. They are surmounted by a large monolithic lintel animated with geometric sculptures. The hearth line is carved with curves and cons-curves. The thin tablet perfectly emphasizes the movement of the lintel.

Hand-carved in the Estaillades stone (a white limestone quarried in Provence), this beautiful fireplace is crafted by hand in our stone cutting atelier located near Avignon, in Provence.
