Large fireplace in natural limestone inspired by the Louis XV style

This re-issued stone fireplace, an original creation by Alain Bidal, is inspired by the style of the French Regency / Louis XV fireplaces. It has slightly curved jambs finely carved with vertical grooves. They are surmounted by a large monolithic lintel animated with geometric sculptures. The hearth line is cut into curves and cons-curves. The tablet perfectly emphasizes the movement of the lintel.

Made in Estaillades (a white limestone quarried in Provence), this beautiful fireplace is a French artisanal realization. It is shaped, cut, carved, sculpted and weathered by hand in our stone workplants situated near Avignon.
