Fireplace in carved limestone of Provence inspired by Louis XVI mantels

The Louis XVI style features more geometric and rectilinear forms : the geometric and decorative sculptures are very characteristic of this style. The jambs are straight and rectangular and presents some carved grooves. The lintel is decorated with hand-carved rosettes and a cartridge, with in its center, an oval shape.

This classic mantel is hand-crafted in our stone-cutting atelier located in the South of France, in Provence. It is carved into the stone of Estaillades (a natural limestone from our region).
