Large limestone fireplace inspired by the style Louis XV

Faithful reproduction of an ancient Louis XV fireplace, this beautiful fireplace in French limestone is of French manufacture. It combines the modern side of new fireplaces and the authenticity of antique fireplaces !

Made in our workshops in Vaucluse (South of France), it is carved in the stone of Estaillades (a natural white stone quarried in Provence). This mantel presents a superb pair of turning  jambs on which sits a monolithic lintel. The thin tablet is nicely moulded and emphasizes the movement of the lintel. Fine engravings decorate the jambs and lintel. An opulent sausage-shaped mould runs around the whole hearth opening.
