French Regency style fireplace in Estaillades stone

Beautiful fireplace in natural stone. It is made in our workshops in the South of France from a limestone extracted from our quarries in Provence, the stone of Estaillades.

This fireplace, an original creation by AE Bidal, resumes the main characteristics of the French Regency style. The wide shelf is finely moulded and follows perfectly the movement of the lintel. The monolith lintel is low-arch and beautifully carved with a shell, some cartridges with geometric carvings. Its presents some beautiful corners that are embellished with sculpted shells. The legs are curved at the top and animated with mouldings, scrolls and hand-carved shells. An opulent mould is visible around the whole hearth opening.
