Fine fireplace with trumeau carved in French limestone - Louis XIII style

This fireplace with trumeau is carved by hand by our experienced artisan stone-cutters in our atelier based in Isle-sur-la-Sorgue in Provence. It is carved in the stone of Estaillades, a natural limestone quarried in Provence.

This elegant mantelpiece in stone is inspired by the classic Louis XIII mantels and features a thin and slender look. The style "Louis XIII" is characterized by a large "sausage-shaped" molding that runs along the entire hearth opening.
This fireplace also features fine and slender jambs on which rests the lintel and molded tablet. The hood (= trumeau or overmantel) shows rounded corners and is animated in the center by a molded frame ended in curves and scrolls. The cornice overlooking the trumeau is finely molded and rounded.

An elegant fireplace in stone that will without a doubt brighten up and warm your cold winter evenings !

→ We can modify its dimensions and patina according to your indoor design and/or in order to adapt an insert or a stove.
