Fireplace with trumeau in French limestone - Louis XIV style

This French artisanal creation is hand-crafted in our Atelier located near Avignon, in Provence, and is carved in the Estaillades stone, a limestone extracted from our quarries in Provence.

It is inspired by the classic Louis XIV fireplaces and features a finely decorated trumeau with molded frames and a beautiful sculpture of floral motifs. It also has a lovely arched lintel with, in its center, a floral frieze carved in relief by hand (specific style of Louis XIV) and 2 engravings on the sides. The focal line is harmonious and highlighted by a beautiful molding. The jambs are decorated with carved frames. The large rounded cornice is also molded.
