Limestone fireplace inspired by the styles of Louis XV & Louis XVI

This elegant fireplace is hand-crafted in our stone-cutting atelier located in the South of France (Provence). It is carved in the white limestone of Provence, the stone of Estaillades.

This original creation is inspired by the French classic mantelpieces of the Louis XV and Louis XVI styles.

It features a mix of curves (typical of the Louis XV style) and sculpted geometric motifs like straight grooves, cartridges and oval (typical of the style of Louis XVI).

The wide molded shelf could be used as a console and allows some room for you to place a few decorative objects such as flowers, frames, sculptures, photos, ...
