Finely hand-carved French Louis XVI fireplace in stone

This fireplace inspired by the French Louis XVI mantels is an original creation by the Atelier Alain Bidal in Provence.
It is carved by hand in the stone of Estaillades, a white limestone quarried in Provence.

This elegant petite fireplace features all the fundamentals of the geometric and linear style of the fireplaces Louis XVI (18th century).
Its jambs are curved and present a finely engraved decoration. The lintel is geometric and monolithic. A large molding runs along the lintel and tablet, to continue on both returns. The tablet is broad enough to welcome some decorative objects.
