Gothic-inspired mantelpiece in carved Burgundian limestone

This large and tall fireplace in stone is a Gothic-inspired mantelpiece carved by hand in a natural limestone extracted from quarries located in Burgundy, the Massangis stone.

Hand-crafted in our stone-cutting atelier in the heart of Provence, in l'Isle sur la Sorgue, this stone mantel features a pair of fine jambs animated with columns and fine moldings, a large keyed monolithic lintel and nicely sculpted molding on the entire lower part of the lintel and the perimeter of the tablet.

The Gothic style is characteristic by large open-hearthed fireplaces and by tall and fine jambs carved to look like columns with a molded bases.

This French hand-crafted fireplace could be re-designed to suit your home and criteria.
