Fireplace with trumeau and base in carved limestone of French Regency style

This elegant fireplace is carved in a French-extracted natural limestone.

Hand-crafted in our stone-cutting atelier in Provence, this mantelpiece is inspired by the classic Louis XV and French Regency styles (early 18th Century), very remarkable by the wide molding sculpted all along the jambs and lintel (typical of the Louis XV style) and the hand-sculpted shell and foliage (representative of the Regency style).

This fireplace in Estaillades stone features a trumeau taking back the elements of those two styles : finely sculpted shell and embossed molded breastplate, ideal please for a frame, a painting or a mirror.

→ This fireplace could be supplied without the overmantel, and with or without the stone base.
It could also be re-designed to suit perfectly your criteria (like to accommodate an insert for example).
