Limestone fireplace with turmeau inspired by the style of Louis the 14th : Barcelonette

Stone fireplace of reedition "Barcelonnette", inspired by Louis XIV style.

This fireplace of creation is carved by our craftsmen in our workshops into the natural stone of Estaillades. It takes back all the fundamentals of the fireplaces of the Louis the 14th style (mid 17th century) : straight jambs with engraved cartridges, a large mould running along the lintel and tablet,  a slender trumeau offering a carved decor drawing a kind of a frame (plastron curved at the top and bottom, beautifully framed by two sculpted columns). The trumeau is topped by a stepped cornice, finely moulded too.

→ This stone fireplace "Barcelonette" also exists without the trumeau. Possibility of adapting its dimensions and patinas / ageing according to your criteria.
