Louis the 16th-style fireplace in French limestone

Magnificent fireplace inspired by the style of Louis 16th. This fireplace, an original creation by the Ateliers Bidal, is carved by hand in our workshops located in the South of France. Made into the stone of Estaillades, a white limestone quarried in our quarries in Provence, it shows all the fundamentals of the geometric and linear style of the fireplaces Louis XVI (18th century).

Its jambs are curved and present a finely engraved decoration. The lintel is geometric and monolithic. A large mould runs along the lintel and tablet, to continue on the returns. The tablet is broad enough to welcome some decorative objects.

→ This stone fireplace can be redesigned to perfectly fit your criteria (dimensions, patina, ageing, ...). This fireplace can be used both as an open fire or with an insert.
