Hand-carved limestone Provencal style fireplace with hood

This Provencal style fireplace is hand-crafted in our atelier located near Avignon, in Provence. This fireplace is the reproduction of a traditional stone fireplace installed in a regional farmhouse.

This fireplace is carved in a natural limestone quarried in France : the stone of Estaillades.

The trumeau features a beautiful apparatus of different blocks of stone and is topped by a fine molded cornice. A large tablet allows for decorative objects to be placed on. The lintel is monolithic and the jambs are carved in "console".

→ This fireplace can be sold with a 10cm-thick surrounding stone base and/or without the hood.
Its dimensions can be modified to suit perfectly your space and your criteria (like to accommodate an insert).
