Louis XVth-style fireplace in a nicely patined natural limestone

This beautiful fireplace draws heavily from thelouis XVth-style. Handmade in our workshops by our stonemasons, it is carved into a natural limestone extracted from our quarries in Provence, the stone of Estaillades, and is presented here in an aged and patined release.

Its jambs are straight and adorned with fine engravings. The monolithic arched lintel presents, in addition to different carvings visible along its entire length, a superb hand-sculpted asymmetrical shell called "rocaille" in the center. The shell is the pattern that best represents the Regency and Louis XV styles. The hearth line offers some beautiful curves and cons-curves. The tablet of this fireplace is fine and moulded.

Handcrafted, this fireplace can be redesigned to meet your criteria (dimensions, patina, ageing ...) and / or to adapt an insert. It can also be used as an open fire.
