Beautifully carved stone fireplace with trumeau (Louis XIV - Louis XV)

Beautiful fireplace with hood in natural stone from Provence, hand-carved by our master craftsmen within our stone workshops : a 100% Made in France fireplace !

This fireplace is an original and artisanal creation inspired by the fireplaces of Louis XIV and Louis XV styles (for its sculptures of shells and foliage very recognizable of that style).

It shows a pair of straight jambs decorated with engravings on which sits a monolithic lintel with several handmade sculptures : an asymmetrical shell in the center, pretty patterns with leaves wrapped around the sides and a large moulding on its lower part (characteristic feature of the Louis 14 style). The hearth line is carved into moulded curves. On the lintel rests a large tablet, ideal to pplace various decorative items !
The hood in dressed stone is adorned with a beaded frame in relief with a fine shell sculpted on top. The overlooking cornice the finely moulded.

→ This fireplace can be sold without the hood, and with or without a stone base. It can also be adapted to meet your exact requirements or to adapt an insert.
