Small fireplace carved in a hard white stone from Provence - Louis XIII style

Elegant veneering fireplace (hearth built inside the wall) made by hand and carved into a French natural hard limestone: the stone of Lens. Cut, carved, crafted and sculpted in our workshops located in southern Vaucluse, in the town of Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, this fireplace is an original creation of Alain Bidal.

This re-issued mantel is largely inspired by the firepalces of Louis XIII style. It presents a large sausage-shaped moulding that surrounds the entire hearth of this fireplace, a pair of jambs nicely curved and a finely molded tablet that is wide enough to accommodate a few decorative objects.

Presented here in a smooth finish, this handcrafted fireplace can be re-sized according to the size of your home or to adapt an insert.
