Fireplace with trumeau in natural limestone from Provence : Séville

This superb mantelpiece in stone is inspired by classic style found during the reign of the French Sun King, Louis XIV.

It is hand-crafted in Provence and carved in a natural stone from Provence, the Estaillade stone. It is presented here in a weathered version to give it a more rustic and authentic look.

This fireplace has a beautiful hearth opening. Its massive and straight jambs are carved with geometrical patterns, recalling the rectangular shape of the trumeau. The lintel is molded, as well as the tablet and the wide cornice. The trumeau is simply decorated with a rectangular frame embossed. Its external angles are straight, from the heel of the jamb to the ledge of the cornice.

This mantelpiece will without a doubt bring warmth, charm and authentic to your home.
