Trickling wall fountain in carved natural limestone

This garden fountain hand-carved in Avy stone (French limestone that naturally resists frost) is a wall fountain of medium size. This type of water features is called "wall fountain" because of its pediment (ie "wall") and because it could be installed against a wall.

This originality behind this fountain is that it features a pediment entirely composed of small blocks of stone on which the water can gently flow all the way down to the basin. Starting from the very top of this wall, the water will trickle on the stones to end its course in the massive rectangular stone basin underneath.
