Provence traditional farmhouse stone fountain with 2 basins : Berger I

This rustic-looking yet charming fountain has been hand-carved in our ateliers using a natural limestone of Provence (the Estaillades stone) by our stonemasons. An original creation by Alain Bidal, this garden fountain is inspired by the fountains found in our pastures and meadows where the shepherds used to water their heard.

This fountain can be installed anywhere in your garden : against a wall, in a corner, or in the middle of the garden !

The originality behind this hand crafted fountain comes from its 2 shallow rectangular basins (the bigger basin overflowing gently into the smaller one) and its finely hand sculpted square column. The sculpture on this column represents a pastoral scene : a shepherd and heard of sheep.
A wrought iron water spout and an authentic antique manual water pump on the side allow the water to flow into the larger basin.
