Provence traditional farmhouse stone fountain with 2 basins : Berger I

This rustic-looking yet charming fountain is hand-carved in our stone cutting atelier located in Provence in a natural French-extracted limestone (the Estaillades stone or the Avy stone). This original creation by Alain Bidal is a garden water feature inspired by the fountains found in our pastures and meadows where the shepherds used to water their heard.

This fountain could be installed anywhere in your garden : against a wall, in a corner, or in the middle of the garden !

This hand-crafted fountain features 2 shallow rectangular basins (the larger basin overflowing gently into the smaller basin) and a finely hand sculpted central square column.
The sculpture on this column represents a pastoral scene : a shepherd and heard of sheep.
A wrought iron water spout allows the water to flow into the larger basin.
