Large limestone wall fountain with a sculpted Bacchus' head

This large wall fountain is hand-carved in a natural French limestone : the Avy stone (a firm white and frost resistant limestone).

This garden fountain hand-crafted in our stone cutting atelier located in Provence features a large semi-octagonal stone basin nicely molded and topped by wide and flat copings and a broad pediment beautifully hand-sculpted with 2 side arabesques, a central molded embossed breastplate, and as water outlet, a sculpted representation of the Roman God Bacchus (God of the vine, wine and celebration). A flat, thin and molded overhanging cornice overlooks the pediment.
