Traditional fireplace carved in hard French limestone

This superb Provencal-style fireplace is handcrafted and handmade by our stonemasons in the Pierre de Lens, a natural hard white limestone from quarries in France.

Of the 19th century style, it is a veneering fireplace : this apartment fireplace implies to have the hearth built into the wall.

We'll note especially the hearth opening being beautifully surrounded by a large sausage-shaped moulding. The finely moulded tablet allows some space for decorative items such as vases, pictures, clocks ....
