Fireplace of Provence carved in French natural limestone : Princesse

This mantel "Princess" is an original creation of The Atelier Alain Bidal. Hand-crafted in our stone-cutting atelier located in the heart of Provence, this charming fireplace carved by hand by our craftsmen in the white limestone of Provence: the Estaillades.

This traditional Provence fireplace is rather simple by its design and features only a few elements in stone : 2 jambs ending in console supporting a monolithic straight lintel nicely topped by the start of a molded hood.

Its simplicity makes it ideal to suit any style of home. It can be used as an open fire or a closed fireplace with insert or gas/wood burner.
