Central fountain with massive stone spiraling basin and golden iron water pump

This water fountain, a one-of-the-kind water feature, features only 2 elements : a massive stone basin and an antique manual water pump.

The stone used to hand-carve the circular basin is the Buxy Bayadère, a golden, blue and grey limestone extracted in Burgundy. This low yet very large basin is carved in a spiral shape letting the water flow gently from the outer rim into the center of the spiral. The water springs out from a large antique cast black iron pump covered with golden leaves.

This modern fountain, exposed in our landscaped park in Provence, is unique.
