Large central stone fountain in the style of the old wash-houses

Large central fountain hand-carved in Estaillades stone, a natural limestone from Provence.

The originality of this fountain comes from the fact that its copings are large and show a concave curb reminiscent of village wash-houses.

The oval basin is impressive: more than 3 metres long by 2 metres wide ! The central column has a square shaft and is adorned with various sculptures on 2 of its sides : mouldings, breastplates and rosettes. Two water spouts in iron allow the water to flow on each side of the basin. The capital, flared and nicely moulded, is perfectly flat to allow for a vase to be installed, for example.

This 100% handcrafted fountain would be ideal for wide spaces.
