Wall fountain carved in natural limestone with a sculpted head of Aeolus

This charming garden wall fountain is hand-crafted by our stonemasons in Provence in a quality white natural limestone : the stone of Avy (frost resistant).
 

This fountain features a rather shallow basin with slightly inclined flanks beautifully topped by flat copings with rounded edges.
The pediment is tall and slender. It is topped by a finely molded overhanging cornice. Very nicely worked, it features a carved breastplate engraved by hand in the center of which stands a sculpture representing Aeolus' head as water outlet. Aeolus is, in the Greek mythology, the master of the winds.
